You, me and a beach house...

Follow Jessica and I on our voyage to create the ultimate "family beach house". This is truly a dream fulfilled for the entire family to possess a getaway where I'm certain many wonderful memories will be created for many years to come.

My inspiration for this venture was contrived when my daughter  began interior design classes at Marymount University in Virginia. In a short period of time, she has shown a real aptitude on taking conceptions and converting them into beautiful and functional creations.

I have always been on the front lines of the "do it yourself" housewives. I and my family have survived my attempts at all the recent design trends from the over-cluttered 90's to the "shabby chic" motifs from the early 2000's and finally to the stripped down, contemporary stylings of 2011 (my husbands favorite).

Consider this your open invitation to join us on our adventure for step by step design ideas along with commentary from my husband David who always jumps in on the action. He actually is the most creative man I have ever met,  who is not gay...

Stay tuned....
